Enforcement / Fines

Parking in Mt. lebanon is at a premium, therefore violations of parking priviliges are strictly enforced. The Mt. Lebanon Parking Authority, in conjunction with the Mt. Lebanon Police Department and the District Magistrate, enforce such violations by issuing parking fines. If you receive a ticket, payment in full must be received within 10 days of issuance or the amount due will increase. Follow the time table on the ticket or below for how much is due on the fine depending on the ticket.

How to pay a ticket:
Payments may be paid by cash or check to the Mt. Lebanon Parking Authority in a few ways. You can put your sealed envelope in one of our fine boxes (pictured at right) located near meters in both the Washington Road and Beverly Road Business Districts. You can also mail or bring your ticket payment to our office located at 788 Washington Road. Invoices on outstanding tickets are mailed weekly. You may also mail the top portion of the invoice immediately with the amount stated enclosed. Any questions regarding your ticket may be made by calling the office at 412-343-4422.

How to appeal a ticket:
Tickets can be appealed only to the District Magistrate located at 680 Washington Road during certain hours. Consult the Frequently Asked Questions page for specific information.

This ticket is issued if the vehicle has been cited for violation of the Mt. Lebanon Code and/or the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code. Payment of the fine may be made by sealing payment (check preferred) in the ticket and then depositing it in a fine box located in the main business areas; or mail the ticket and check in a regular envelope to the Mt. Lebanon Parking Authority, 788 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228, (Phone Number 412-343-4422). Payment may also be made in person at the Parking Authority Office. You may appeal the charged violation by appearing at District Court within the next ten (10) days (Phone Number 412-561-4415). Vehicles with two or more outstanding parking violations are subject to towing or booting.
